About the deep blue mermaid

Performing as "The Deep Blue Mermaid,"  Anna is the Upper Keys’ premier aquatic performer and has made appearances at events all across the Southeast. 

In 2023, she was one of the featured performers in the Netflix docuseries, “MerPeople,” and can be seen diving at the Silverton Aquarium in Season 1: Episodes 3.

Anna has training in a variety of dance styles, and more than 20 years of diving experience. She is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, PADI Mermaid Instructor, and PADI Advanced Freediving Instructor with a breath hold of nearly four minutes. She is also the acting Secretary for the USA Freediving Board of Directors, and a competition safety diver.

With these skills, Anna can safely perform in open water and confined water environments using both breath hold diving and surface supply (scuba) systems.

Her company, Deep Blue Freediving , not only provides exceptional mermaid entertainment, but also offers personalized dive instruction, aquatic safety workshops, and life-saving certification courses upon request.
